How justfixit.AI Works

Computer repair, explained simply

Step 1

Install the app

Download justfixit.AI and install it like any other app. It runs quietly in the background — you won't even notice it's there.

Step 2

AI matches your problem to a fix

We match your problem against proven community fixes — or three AI models analyze it and agree on the safest solution. Today this works for Minecraft on macOS and Windows; general computer diagnosis is on the roadmap.

Step 3

One click to fix

You'll see a plain-English explanation of what will change. Click the button, and it's done — no tech jargon, no settings to change. Works today for Minecraft on macOS and Windows.

A fix, start to finish

This is what actually happens when you ask justfixit.AI for help, using the fix that is live today: Minecraft that will not start, crashes on launch, or breaks after you add a mod.

1. You say what is wrong

You do not need error codes. “Minecraft crashes when I hit Play” is enough. On the home page you can describe the problem without an account and without installing anything, and you will get a plain-English explanation of what is most likely going on. If you have a Minecraft crash report, you can paste it in for a more specific answer.

2. The app looks at the technical details

Once the desktop app is installed and you are signed in, it checks the things that usually cause the problem: your Minecraft installation, your mods, the Java version, config files and world saves. It reads system settings and error logs. It does not open your documents, photos or passwords.

3. You see the plan before anything changes

Before a fix runs, you get a written explanation of what it will change and why. Nothing happens until you approve it. If you are not comfortable, you can simply close the window and nothing on your computer has been touched.

4. A snapshot, then the fix

When you click the button, the app first saves a snapshot of your system. Fix packages are signed, and a package that has been tampered with is rejected instead of run. Every command also passes through independent safety checks; the details are on our safety page.

5. Check it worked, or undo it

After the fix, start Minecraft again. If something is not right, use undo to put things back the way they were from the snapshot. Problems we cannot fix yet are worth telling us about through the contact page, because that is how we decide what to support next.

Your computer is always protected

Safety you can trust

We built justfixit.AI the way we'd want software to work on our own family's computers.

You always see what's happening

Before any fix runs, you'll see a plain-English explanation of what it will do. Nothing happens without your permission.

Easy undo if anything goes wrong

We take a snapshot of your computer before every fix. If something doesn't work right, we can put everything back exactly how it was.

Your privacy is protected

We never look at your personal files, photos, or passwords. We only look at system settings and error logs — the boring technical stuff.

Every fix is tested and verified

Fixes come from trusted sources and are tested before they reach your computer. Think of it like getting medicine from a licensed pharmacy, not a random website.
